Looking at soft robotics in order to explore whether physical gestures can facilitate nonverbal communication with machines. Would this allow to tap into intrinsic patterns of physical behavior without burdening the processing capacities of the human brain? Or at least provide soothing redundancies with other channels of perception?
The field of soft robotics might serve as a source of inspiration to create new organic interaction concepts with autonomous systems.
